Cubix is a ROOT based graphical interface providing a large number of tools for gamma-ray spectrocopy analysis.

It is linked with the TkN library to provide a direct access to nuclear databases.

It allows to:

  • analyse 1D, 2D, 3D gamma spectra:
    • fit peaks,
    • perform coincidence analysis,
    • estimate backgrounds,
  • perform angular correlation analysis:
    • plot theoretical distributions,
    • determine transition multipolarity,
    • evaluate mixing ratio,
  • characterize detectors:
    • energy calibration,
    • resolution estimation,
    • efficiency measurements,
  • browse nuclear databases:
    • ENSDF reader to display published values on spectra,
    • Coincidence finder,
    • Nuclear chart browser.
